What you reserve through the desk is a ride on terms all three parties accept
These terms apply to each request you send the desk, by form or by phone, and to each ride it passes to a local car company after your yes. They name the three parties, explain the written fare and its ceiling, list the conditions every company accepts in writing before it receives rides, and cover the use of this site.
Who takes part in a request
Three parties share each request: the desk, which passes the ride on after your yes; the company, a local car company holding its own California passenger-carrier permit and a permit for each airport it serves; and you, the rider, who send the request and accept or decline the written fare. These terms are an agreement between you and Classic Car Cruise LLC. That limited liability company is organized in California and keeps the desk in Irvine.
Division of work between desk and company
The desk works out the car size your load needs, asks local companies for that size at your hour with a fixed fare, and, when one has such a car free, sends you that company's fare in writing. Before a ride is passed on, it looks up that company, makes sure its state permit is active and in good standing and that it holds a permit for your airport, and keeps a record of each look-up. The company sets its fare within the conditions it has accepted, confirms in writing under its own name, sends the car, drives and takes payment.
Your written fare and its ceiling
The written fare arrives by text, and by email when you give an address. It names the company, its state permit number, the car size and the fare for the whole car, one way. The quote is free, with no obligation. The fare holds the drive, fuel, the airport's fee for the trip, road tolls on the company's route and any service charge; a tip for the driver is up to you, sits outside the fare and is never added by default.
Each figure in the fare tables covers the ride itself for one town, airport and car size, and it is the most a company may charge through the desk for that ride, so the company's written fare for the ride is the same or lower. The SUV figure also covers an SUV with its third row folded. Extras you ask for, a child seat, an extra stop or a longer wait, each stand on their own line in the written fare, on top of the figure for the ride, before your yes. However many lines it holds, the written fare never climbs past $250 for the car.
You pay the company, by card in the car or by the method its confirmation names. Nothing is paid through this site, and the desk never charges riders. For each ride it completes, a company pays the desk the same flat fee every company pays, inside its fare and never as an added line.
Conditions each company accepts in writing
A company receives rides from the desk only after it accepts each of these conditions in writing, and it sets its fare within them. They hold for any ride you reserve here, and the cancellation policy gives more detail on waiting and canceling:
- The written fare for the ride itself is at or below the figure printed for that town, airport and car size; each extra you ask for sits on its own line on top of it, and the whole written fare stays within $250 for the car.
- Free waiting lasts 15 minutes at the pickup address; at the airport it runs from the actual landing, 60 minutes after a domestic flight and 90 minutes after an international arrival.
- Longer waiting is charged only when you ask the driver to keep waiting, at the rate the written fare names, with the total within $250 for the car.
- Canceling is free up to 6 hours before pickup; later, the company may charge up to the written fare. A no-show counts only after the free wait has run out.
- If the company cancels or its car does not come, you owe nothing; a charge above the written fare is refunded by the company; a complaint the desk passes on gets the company's written answer within 15 days.
- A change of time, address or load goes through the desk or the company's line and is confirmed in writing; a changed load can change the car size and fare, within the limits above.
- Each ride is its own request with its own written fare: the ride to the airport and the ride home are separate requests, sent separately.
The company's confirmation in writing
Once you accept, the desk hands the booking to that one company, which sends its written confirmation under its own name. It names the company, its state permit number, the car size, the fare, the meeting point and the company's number to call on the day you ride. The pages for John Wayne Airport, LAX and Long Beach Airport describe each pickup curb.
Complaints, refunds and a missing car
A complaint about a ride goes to the desk by phone or email. The desk passes it to the company on the day it arrives and answers you in writing, and the company's written answer follows within 15 days. If the company cancels or its car does not come, you owe nothing for that ride, and the company returns anything already paid for it. Whenever a company charges more than the written fare, it refunds the amount above it. A ride is a service, so no goods are involved: nothing is mailed or delivered.
Texts, calls and your details
The request form takes requests at any hour. A request sent while the phone is closed is read when it opens, and each one gets a written reply within two hours, counting only the hours the phone is open. The reply carries one company's fixed fare when a car of that size is free at that hour, and says so when none is.
Calls and texts, agreed to in a separate unchecked box, go only to the number you gave and only about that request; replying STOP ends texts. Before your yes, companies asked about a car see only the ride details; your name, phone and email go to the one company you accept. The privacy policy has the rest.
One car per request, sized to the load
Each request covers one car, sized to the load: a sedan for up to 3 riders, an SUV for up to 6, or an SUV with its third row folded for up to 4 riders with skis, snowboards or a bike box laid flat. Load points are the desk's rule of thumb for asking, never a promise of space. A surfboard bag is asked about company by company, and no board is promised. Describe a load past the largest size in the note, and the written reply tells you whether one car can hold it. See what fits.
Seats for children under 8
A company can bring a child seat when you ask and names any charge for it in the written fare, or you bring your own; the seat takes a rider's place, not load points. California law generally requires a child under 8 to ride in a child seat in a back seat, and when a parent rides along the duty rests with the parent instead of the driver, so the seat is still needed.
The note on the form may carry each child's age and the seat each child rides in. Like the other ride details, it goes to the one company you accept, so that company brings the right seat.
Page content and the written papers
Pages here describe how the desk works: printed fare figures, road miles and drive times in free-flowing traffic, curb notes and load points, with airports named only as places a ride goes to. The written fare and the company's confirmation name what the pages leave open: the company and its state permit number, the car model, the door or curb spot where you meet, the waiting rate, and the price of each extra you asked for. They never go above a printed figure for the ride or past $250 for the car, and nothing else a page says is overridden by them.
Owner of the text, marks and copyright
The text, pictures, layout, logo and name on this site, and the marks among them, belong to the limited liability company named in the first section. You may read, print and share single pages for your own use; copying pages in bulk or reusing them elsewhere needs the owner's written consent. Copyright notices go to rides@classiccarcruise.com, naming the work, the page address where it appears and how to reach you.
Warranty disclaimer for site content
Apart from the commitments in these terms, the printed figures, their ceiling and the conditions each company accepts, the content of this site comes as it stands, with no warranty of accuracy or of fitness for a given use, stated or implied. Drive times assume free-flowing traffic, and on the day the meeting point in the company's confirmation is the one to follow.
Liability, part by part
The ride itself, from the car and the driver to the time on the road and the loading of bags, is the responsibility of the company that confirms and drives it under its own permits. The desk answers for its own part: reading the request, sending the written fare, looking up permits and passing the ride on. To the extent California law allows, the desk's liability excludes indirect and consequential losses, and nothing here limits a right California law gives a rider that cannot be waived.
Proper use of the form and site
Use the form only to request rides for yourself or the party you travel with, with true details and a mobile number where you read the reply. False or automated requests, attempts to break into or overload the site, collecting its pages with scripts and using the form for anything other than a ride fall outside these terms, and the desk may set such a request aside.
California law and later changes
California law governs these terms and every request sent through this site; if a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. The desk may revise these terms, and the version on this page applies to requests sent after it is posted.
Where to send a question
Questions about these terms go to the desk through the contact page, which prints the phone number and the hours the phone is open. On the day of a confirmed ride, call the line in the company's confirmation. These terms take effect on September 27, 2026.
Fare figures set on September 27, 2026, from the fares that car companies in the area publish. A company's written fare for the ride itself, for the same town, airport and car size, is the same or lower; extras you ask for are listed on their own lines.
